March Brewsletter
March 27th, 2009January 2009 Brewsletter
January 14th, 2009Well here it is, the January Brewsletter. First one of the year. You’ll notice the picture pages are not in this particular issue. I kind of blew all of my material on the December year end pictorial (see that issue for Xmas, and Dixie Cup pics). In this issue you will find our newly elected Waz fresh into the new year with exuberance and energy to acomplish a whole slew of tasks. Doak the secondary entertains us with the style of the month stout. See ya at the meeting!
Cheers!

December 28th, 2008Happy Holidays.
Here is a little stocking stuffer for your perusal. Linked is the year end pictorial issue of the brews letter. In this issue you will find pictures recapping the Dixie Cup, and Christmas party. Also our soon to be Wuz Waz leaves us with some parting words.
Now we look foward to 2009 with new officers “Storge” as the Waz and Doak as Secondary. May your new year be full of good beers homebrew or other wise.

December 7th, 2008Alright. Dixie Cup has come ad gone and with Thanksgiving gone by (big work time for me in the food retailing industry), its time now to catch up on my duties. First off I will be getting out an extra large double issue, summarizing the Dixie Cup and covering the other things leading up to todays x-mas party. Stay tuned and I hope to see all of the various Foam Rangers at St Arnolds today.
Happy Holidays and cheers!

Dixie Cup Friday recap part I
October 18th, 2008Friday night at the Dixie Cup took its toll on many, and as we enter the final day of judging and awards ceremony we all pull deep for those living liver cells to go “One more night”.
Sean taking a snooze Sat. afternoon. But what about Friday? What a hell of a night. We finished the first round judging and started our night with the potluck. Ohh what a spread it was. I want to thank everybody (as the Potluck Coordinator) for bringing a wide range of wonderful foods. From Cochinita Pibil, Jambalayas, Gumbos, to Hatch Chiles and Beer cheese soups. The spread was grade “A”.
My buddy and I cooking 80 pounds of chicken for the Potluck.
People dining in the Potluck Cafe near the elevator.
Getting their grub on everybody enjoying the food in reception.
Friday recap part II
October 18th, 2008After the potluck was finished, the masses moved downstairs for the raffle and Fred tasting. In what is probably Fred’s last visit, the crowd was moved by great speeches from Doak and TBob. The man of the hour was Fred.
Uncle Sam! Fred rouses the crowd.
Doak opening the Dixie Cup convention with a rousing speech about his “Dream” of barley wine for all.
The Crowd cheers,”Four more beers!”
Bastard Party, crowded with good friends and beers.
Doak’s fashion statment caught on and became popular at the Bastar party. Remember what Doak says, “Keep your head dry with an umbrella”.
Cheers!
